This week's book is Personality Isn't Permanent. I picked it up because I was made to believe from my few readings on psychology that strong attitudes don't change over time. Well, this book argues that people change and it is up to us to decide who we want to be. I was expecting some sort of CBT exercises to change your self-limiting beliefs but all I got was a couple of questions to take down in one's journal. It was a world changer for me because up until now I struggled to find my authentic self and that is a way of getting a fixed mindset instead of a growth mindset. Not to mention that it opened my eyes to the fact that personality tests are of no real use but are more a way of deceiving people. Not much of a life changer which is why I gave it only two stars on Goodreads. Quick read. Not worthy of having it in your library. Spend your money on something else.
