Another book that I read this week was The Molecule of More. A revolutionary book on the topic of dopamine and its influence on human behaviour. The aim of dopamine is always more. That is why passionate love doesn't last. That is why drug addicts crave more drugs. What I also came across was the fact that the brains of liberals and conservatives differed, that creativity and schizophrenia were alike and that dopamine could mean the extinction of humans if left unchecked. An interesting, engaging read packed with research and wonderfully written. Four stars on Goodreads.
